No hay más Led Zeppelin

By

Anne Hathaway & Co. Celebrate at "Dark Knight Rises" Afterparty

After constant promotions for their newest film, the stars of “The Dark Knight Rises” were spotted having some fun at an after-party in London, England on Wednesday night (July 18).

Held at The Freemasons Hall, Catwoman cutie Anne Hathaway dressed in a lovely white cocktail dress as she joined castmates Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and director Christopher Nolan for a night of post-red carpet celebrations.

Also on hand at the event - which was held after the film’s Odeon Leicester Square European premiere - was Prince Harry and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" actress Noomi Rapace

With "The Dark Knight Rises" set to hit theaters on July 20th, director Nolan recently spoke with USA Today about picking Miss Hathaway for the Catwoman role.

Of this, Christopher revealed. "The thing that clicked for me was trying to build a credible character from the ground up, a classic femme fatale and grifter. Anne can present a psychologically real characterization. And she can fill a room with her energy and presence."

The 41-year-old added, "I told her that the character wears a lot of armor, in a sense, and has a strong way of dealing with the world, and that has to come from a defensive position."

As for the famed Catwoman outfit, Anne was relieved once she was able to take it off for good, telling, "After I finished the rooftop fight, I ate four slices of pizza and split a bottle of red wine with my guy. I hadn't eaten like that in months. I felt so ill. By the time the movie finished, I decided to give veganism a try. You can't go hog-wild as a vegan. You can eat a lot of pasta and have a few vegan pastries."

Celebrity Breakups: Heidi Klum & Seal Divorce

Heidi Klum and Seal

They've shared one of the most passionate unions in Tinseltown, so it comes as sad and surprising news that Heidi Klum is getting divorced from husband Seal. Seal was the special guest during Monday's (January 23) taping of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". With the episode set to air later this week, the 48-year-old British singer opened up about ending his marriage with wife of six and a half years, Heidi Klum, telling, “I think we were shocked. You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say ‘I do’ and you say ’til death do us part.’ Those vows hold value. They are not just words… You try and you work through it and the thing that you quickly realize when you are married and you become a parent you do the best that you can." "It makes you actually appreciate your parents a lot more. The thing that I’m most proud about this great woman who married (and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart), is that together she has given me four incredible gifts…four beautiful children [Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou]. She still, in my opinion, the most wonderful woman in the world. I think our priority was to remain civil and do this thing with dignity. We still very much love each other,” Seal, who also performed “Let’s Stay Together” for the daytime talk show, added. “To say that neither of us were grieving would be an out and out lie (and I don’t mind telling you that). I think the operative here is that we are civil to each other and we both have a tremendous amount of respect and love and we try and do this with as much dignity as we possibly can.” Meanwhile, the "Kiss From a Rose" singer also commented on the fact that he was still sporting his wedding band, as he explained, “Yes, I am still wearing my ring. I think it’s just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person. We will be connected in many ways ‘til the rest of our lives…. though our children and also through this tremendous admiration, respect and love that we have for each other. Will we wear the ring for the rest of our lives? Who knows? But right now it feels really comfortable on my hand so I have intentions of taking it off anytime soon.” [gallery=811]Heidi Klum and Seal

Adele: March 2012 cover girl of Vogue

Adele

Adele posed for an elegantly put together Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot spread while talking about everything from ridding of the booze to her highly publicized vocal cord surgery. Highlights from Adele's interview are as follows.
On her 'loud' personality: “I am quite loud and bolshie,” she says (British slang for unruly and clamorous). “I’m a big personality. I walk into a room, big and tall and loud.” Indeed. There is no doubt when Adele is in the building. The rule of thumb for protecting one’s vocal cords, she tells me, is: If people are more than an arm’s length away, you shouldn’t talk to them. “But I am like, Wah! Wah! Wah!,” she says, laughing. “It’s really bad.”
On giving up drinking last May: “Don’t like drinking anymore. I think I got it out of my system. D’yaknowhaImean?”
On her vocal troubles: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it.” She flew to London the next morning to see her doctor and was diagnosed with acute laryngitis. After a couple weeks’ rest, she continued her European tour, came to America, and then her voice went again in May. “That was a hemorrhage... a burst blood vessel on my vocal cord. That healed, I did a tour, and then it happened again at my best friend’s wedding on October 1.”
On getting support through her surgery from other artists: “John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did and he really helped me be chilled out about it. Roger Daltrey’s had loads of stuff done; Steven Tyler reached out; Elton John. Lots of artists have had problems with their voices, but you don’t know about it. And they are still singing incredibly well in their 50s and 60s.”
On her six Grammy nominations: “I burst into tears when I found out. And I would love, absolutely love, to win. This record is coming to an end, and that would be the final brick on it.” [gallery=821]
