Lending their talent to an intriguing new production, Ryan Gosling and Rooney Mara paired up for filming in Austin, Texas earlier this week (September 24).
The " Half Nelson" heartthrob and his "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" actress co-star got up close and personal while in the midst of an intimate scene for director Terrence Malick's yet-to-be-titled project.
The drama - which thus far is only confirmed for a July 4, 2013 Russian release date - tells the story of "two intersecting love triangles with obsession and betrayal set against the music scene in Austin, Texas."
Boasting quite the extraordinary cast, the planned 2013 release also stars Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale and Wes Bentley.

Working her magic for the camera, Cameron Diaz filmed scenes for “The Counselor” in Alicante, Spain today (September 25).
The “Sweetest Thing” starlet showed off her lovely legs in a tunic dress with a high slit while she conversed with director Ridley Scott and costar Javier Bardem.
During the course of the day, Cameron also changed into a flirty monochrome dress while chatting on the phone on a balcony of a luxurious mansion.
Meanwhile, the rumors of a romance between Miss Diaz and newly-divorced Tom Cruise are still running rampant in the gossip mill.
One source stated, "Tom and Cameron get on really well. [He] thinks Cameron is beautiful, intelligent and a lot of fun. He'd love for them to be more than friends. Tom's felt so low since his divorce and Cameron's company has really cheered him up."

The movie tie-in edition of "20 Times a Lady"—now called "What's Your Number?"—is now available wherever fine books are sold!
To celebrate its publication, a few of my favorite readers came up with these great reviews...
"What's Your Number? is like Harry Potter minus the wizards, wands, and Lord Voldemort." —Michelle Bell
"What's Your Number? is like Gone With the Wind except with less hoop skirts and poverty and more beaus..." —Karen Meyer
"What's Your Number? is like To Kill a Mockingbird without all the racism and children." —Julie Stone
Thanks ladies!
